Cuomo’s 2020 New York State Executive Order 203 requires each chief
executive officer of the local government to convene the head of the
local police agency and stakeholders in the community to develop a
plan that reviews and is tailored to the specific needs of the
community which fosters and improves community and police
relationships (more info
below).

Community Collaboration Committee Meeting #1 - November 4, 2020
Public Survey and Comments On November 4th, the
Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with Delaware
County, NY Government and our community volunteers, held the first
Police Reform Collaboration Community Committee meeting.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the meeting was not open to the public or
media, however the recording is available on the Delaware County NY
Government and Delaware County Sheriff's Office Facebook pages, the
Delaware County NY Government Instagram profile and YouTube channel,
and on our respective websites.
This survey is open to Delaware County residents who would like to
provide their feedback regarding the Delaware County Sheriff's
Office, specifically in regards to the Police Reform Collaboration
Meeting which occurred November 4th, 2020. The survey is available
for completion beginning November 13th, 2020 through November 20th,
2020, a period of one week. All surveys for consideration must be
returned by 11:59PM EST, November 20th, 2020.
