ERIC BENECKE

Eric Benecke was
hired by Delaware County on 9/21/2004 as a Caseworker with
Social Services. On 3/6/2006, he became a Social Services
Program Specialist. On 2/3/2014, Eric transferred to the
Office for the Aging as an Aging Services Representative,
and on 1/1/2015, was promoted to Caseworker.
Eric assists
clients with applications for benefits such as, HEAP, SNAP,
MSP, and Medicaid. He case manages clients who receive
home-delivered meals and EISEP aid service. He completes
assessments, develops care plans, and provides ongoing
services.
Eric is very
knowledgeable of all the services offered through Office for
the Aging. Eric is very organized in his role as a
caseworker. He can manage his daily tasks without any
difficulty. Eric has excellent communications skills, which
is very important when providing care and services for the
older adults. Eric will make himself available to assist his
peers when they have questions. Eric takes pride in his
work. He is excellent at tracking multiple projects and sees
them through to completion according to regulations and
assigned time frame. Eric has an excellent rapport with his
clients, and an excellent way of presenting himself and the
availability of services. Eric makes each of his clients
feel important and gives them his utmost devoted attention.
Eric enjoys working
with people in a capacity where he is providing a service or
assistance that they truly want. Clients are happy to have
the services and assistance.
Eric enjoys
spending time with his family, his wife Carol, son Matthew,
daughter-in-law, Chrissy, grandson and granddaughter,
daughter, Sarah, and his two German Shepherds, Riley, and
Nova. He also enjoys walks, board games, campfires,
swimming, and watching classic movies.
