Stephanie started working for
Delaware County on July 30, 2007 in the title of Legal Secretary for
the Department of Social Services. At that time she had just
completed her studies at Lake Erie College where she graduated,
Summa Cum Laude, with a four year degree in paralegal studies. On
January 1, 2008, the legal department became part of the County
Attorney’s Office. Stephanie’s consistent and outstanding
professionalism resulted in her promotion to the position of
Paralegal Assistant on February 21, 2011.
As Paralegal Assistant,
Stephanie’s responsibilities include maintaining up to date filing
procedures, preparing documents to be filed with the Court and
served on the appropriate parties, maintain log books and case
statistics, gathering documents for trial preparation and
maintaining the attorney’s calendars.
Stephanie is a tremendous asset
in the County Attorney’s Office. Stephanie has an impeccable work
ethic and possesses the extraordinary skills necessary to perform
the responsibilities of her position. She is extremely
conscientious and despite a constantly increasing workload,
graciously and voluntarily takes on additional responsibilities and
duties. She is also highly organized and regularly completes tasks
before being asked. Stephanie is a valued and integral part of the
County Attorney’s Office. She consistently makes a difference in
the quality of work and the achievements of the County Attorney’s
Office.
What Stephanie likes most about
her job is that each day is different and challenging. She enjoys
working in conjunction with other County departments to help the
residents of Delaware County. Also, Stephanie says “My co-workers
are great!”
Stephanie lives in Grand Gorge
with her partner, James. Her hobbies include spending time with her
family especially her nieces, reading, skiing and making others
laugh.
Congratulations and thank you
Stephanie, for a job well done.
