Welcome to our web site. This
site was designed so that we could better serve Delaware County
residents by providing useful information about our Mental Health
and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services.
The Community Services Board was established March 12, 1962. The
Delaware County Board of Supervisors designates the Delaware County
Community Services board as the local governmental unit for policy
making, planning and management of the county’s mental hygiene
services. This board is made up of nine voluntary members who have
expertise, experience, or interest in the area of mental health,
developmental disabilities, alcoholism and substance abuse.
The Community Services Board is a policy making board and through
the Director of Community Services carries out the responsibilities
of needs assessment, planning, budgeting, programmatic and fiscal
management as well as the general oversight of the provision of
services.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, at 4:00 pm at
243 Delaware Street, Walton, NY.
Meetings are open to the public.
